What is Slayers 2?

The game (formerly Project Slayers 2) is an open-world action RPG set in a Taisho-era Japan inspired by Demon Slayer. You create a character, roll a clan, and fight bandits, bears and demons around Windy Peak before choosing your path.

As a Slayer you train a Breathing Style at level 25, pass Final Selection at level 45 and earn the Mizunoto rank. As a Demon you tank your reputation, take Muzan's blood and roll a Blood Demon Art, but sunlight burns you. Both paths share weapons, clans, bosses, dungeons, fishing and crafting.

The launch build has eight Breathing Styles, about ten Demon Arts (including the Reaper and Arrow Evil Arts), 41 clans and a Nichirin Forge for Nightfall gear at level 65.

Slayer or Demon: which path?

Slayer path

  • Train one of eight Breathing Styles at level 25.
  • Pass Final Selection at level 45 for the Mizunoto rank and a Kasugai Crow.
  • Safe in daylight; bounty quests and Slayer Progress gourds afterwards.
  • Clans such as Rengoku, Agatsuma and Tomioka boost one style each.

Demon path

  • Drop your reputation to -40 and finish Muzan's quest before level 45.
  • Spin Blood Demon Arts in Muzan's domain: 70% hit, 30% nothing.
  • Sunlight burns you until you buy or find a hat such as the Black Amigasa.
  • Kamado, Douma and Susamaru support Demon builds.

You cannot switch to the Demon path after Final Selection, so choose before level 45. An Extra Slots pass lets one account try both.

None of them is needed to progress. The locators save time on night spawns (Muzan, Spider Lilies, the Black Marketer and horses); Set Spawn Anywhere saves travel.

Route for new players

  1. Level 1–6: recover Kona's Lost Pages in Windy Peak, buy a katana from Raze and clear Krue's bandits.
  2. Level 7–24: Zuko, Tom's bears and the Mother Bear. Unlock Wall Climb and Double Jump early.
  3. Level 25: pick a breathing trainer, or start the Demon path before Final Selection.
  4. Level 45: Final Selection (Slayers) and the fishing permit.
  5. Level 65: The Forge quest and Nightfall crafting.

What is Slayers 2 on Roblox?

Slayers 2 is a Demon Slayer-inspired open-world action RPG on Roblox by Ouw Productions, the studio behind Project Slayers. You choose to become a Demon Slayer with a Breathing Style or a Demon with a Blood Demon Art, then level up, fight bosses and craft weapons.

Is Slayers 2 the same game as Project Slayers 2?

Yes. The game was announced and tested as Project Slayers 2 and launched under the shorter name. The Ouw Productions group description calls the studio the makers of "Project Slayers 1, and Slayers 2". Be careful: Roblox also lists an unrelated experience called "Project Slayers 2", so check the creator is Ouw Productions.

When did Slayers 2 come out?

It released on September 18, 2026 (Project Slayers Wiki timeline). The Roblox experience itself was created on February 2, 2024 and went through a closed beta and early access before launch.

Should I be a Slayer or a Demon in Slayers 2?

Slayers unlock a Breathing Style at level 25 and take Final Selection at 45. Demons drop their reputation to -40, finish Muzan's quest and spin Blood Demon Arts, but burn in sunlight. Is Slayers 2 free to play?

Yes. It is free on Roblox for PC, mobile and console. It sells six optional game passes, from the Horse Spawn Locator (120 Robux) to Extra Slots (900 Robux), according to the official game pass API.

Does Slayers 2 have a Trello or Discord?

There is no Trello (Destructoid and Beebom agree). The community Discord is discord.gg/projectslayers, a server named "Slayers 2" with about 996,000 members on September 30, 2026. The Roblox page itself shows no social links.
